New order notification with sound
How to enable sound and why a notification may not arrive.
When a new order arrives, the app shows a "New order #…" notification with sound and vibration. The app checks for new orders every 10 seconds.
What is needed
- Allow notifications on the first launch.
- The phone sound must not be off and "Do not disturb" mode must be off.
- The app must be running (it can be minimized).
If you close the app completely (swipe it away) or the phone "puts it to sleep" to save battery, the notification will not arrive. In the battery settings choose "Unrestricted" for "Oi Menu Admin" and do not close the app at the counter.
