How to add a category
Categories group dishes: "Soups", "Salads", "Drinks".
- Open "Menu" (catalog) and click "Add category".
- Enter the category name.
- Optionally set an icon / emoji (for example 🍕) — it appears next to the name.
- The "Sorting" field sets the order. It is easier to drag categories with the mouse later.
- Keep "Active category" on and click "Save".
A disabled category is hidden from the menu entirely but stays in the admin panel.
